Synopsis: Romantic drama. In Michigan, USA, Ethel Ann buries her husband, Chuck, and starts drinking instead of grieving as her daughter Marie expects. On a hillside in Belfast, a young man, Jimmy, digs up an old gold ring inscribed with the names of Ethel and Teddy. When Jimmy tracks Ethel down to return the ring to her, unexpected consequences arise, causing Ethel's family and friends to re-evaluate her tangled romantic history.
